Job Title: Paediatric Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Care Assistant to join our team at Superior Healthcare. As a Paediatric Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with children who require complex care and support.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of care and attention to detail. You will be working with children who have complex medical needs, including tracheostomy management and gastrostomy. You will be responsible for assisting with clinical interventions, such as PEG feeds and seizure management, as well as administering medication and providing personal care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with clinical interventions, such as PEG feeds and seizure management
  • Administer medication
  • Provide personal care, including oral suctioning and ventilation
  • Support children with complex care needs, including tracheostomy management and gastrostomy
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in care work, preferably with children
  • Full right to work within the UK
  • Full UK driving license with access to a car
  • Ability to commit to at least two shifts per week
