The Role

Lendlease Construction is currently recruiting for a MEP Project Manager to join the team delivering a new build super prison in Leicestershire. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for maintaining client relationships, managing Lendlease onsite M&E teams, and liaising closely with the onsite construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Lead and manage Lendlease onsite M&E teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Review and manage subcontractor and design consultant performance to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Chair design, construction, and completion meetings to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor and manage project design within the framework of a design and construct contract.
• Manage and implement designs required to be installed by subcontractors during the construction phase.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship meets employer and regulatory requirements.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• CSCS manager's card holder
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry
• Understanding of health and safety regulations, CDM, and ability to implement company safety policies
• Ability to recognise and reward safe behaviours and practices
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and vision
• Deep understanding of building services, including design principles, construction techniques, commissioning, and handover requirements
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with subcontractors, consultants, and other team members
