Job Description: Internal Controls Specialist

At RSM UK, we're looking for an experienced Internal Controls Specialist to join our team. As an Internal Controls Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and operation of internal controls within organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
  • To conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement.
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • To provide training and guidance to staff on internal controls and related procedures.
  • To monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • To stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and emerging trends in internal controls.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in implementing and maintaining internal controls.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
