About the Role
As a Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities, providing emotional support and companionship to ensure our residents feel valued and respected.
Main Responsibilities
- Supporting residents with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assisting with meal times, ensuring residents receive the nutrition they need
- Providing one-to-one interaction with residents, engaging in conversations and activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction
- Maintaining accurate records of resident's care plans and progress
About You
To succeed as a Care Assistant, you'll need to possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a caring attitude. Previous experience in elderly care is desirable, but not essential. We're committed to providing comprehensive training to help you develop your skills and confidence.
