Job Summary

We are looking for a Corporate/Commercial Solicitor to build and establish our Corporate & Commercial department. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and the vision to grow the practice area and build a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on, reviewing, and drafting commercial contracts.
  • Preparing articles of association, loan agreements, partnership agreements, and shareholder agreements.
  • Advising on corporate transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, and sales of businesses.
  • Advising on business structuring, including company incorporation and joint ventures.
  • Building a specialism around GDPR and its application to commercial practice.
  • Advising on corporate governance and secretarial matters.
  • Providing general company advice as and when required.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years PQE and a strong understanding of company law and private acquisitions. They will also have the ability to grow the practice area and build a team.
