Gas Asset Management Placement Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our Gas Asset Management team as an industrial placement student. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, developing and improving processes and templates used to support business planning and forecasting.
You will also be responsible for optimising and consolidating operational performance reporting tools, updating risk registers and frameworks, and applying analytical skills to environmental issues such as modelling power station impacts on the environment.
Our team supports our portfolio of gas-fired power stations across Europe, and we are committed to continually improving our performance for both generation and the environment.
Your OpportunityDuring your placement, you will work across the teams on essential tasks such as:
- Developing and improving processes and templates used to support business planning and forecasting.
- Optimising and consolidating operational performance reporting tools.
- Updating risk registers and frameworks and analysing their contents.
- Applying analytical skills to environmental issues, such as modelling power station impacts on the environment or analysing the implications of developing environmental regulation.
- Supporting experienced colleagues in the Generation and associated areas, applying your skills, and learning new ones.
You will attend courses, workshops, and on-the-job training for your personal development, and have the opportunity to spend time with the disciplines across the Asset Management function, learning about the challenges of managing a pan-European portfolio business.
