Mechanical Design Engineer Contract Opportunity

ATA Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client's team on a 6-12 month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a small team of installation electricians across sites UK wide, primarily in Northern locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Producing detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with project requirements for major food brand blue chip organisations.
  2. Designing utilising CAD - Solidworks and AutoCAD.
  3. Conducting site surveys and measurements.
  4. Creating fabrication & installation drawings.
Requirements:
  1. Apprentice trained ideally to NVQ L3/HNC Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Solidworks & AutoCAD conversant.
  3. Experienced in food plant layouts and capital equipment design.
  4. In-depth food industry projects & site survey experience.
  5. A team player with a flexible mindset who strives for excellence.
  6. Working in the office 5 days a week - part of the team.
  7. Minimum 6-12-month contract with potential for longer.

Our client is a leading UK Engineering, projects, and installations company, managing large EPC projects for major blue chip FMCG manufacturers UK wide. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist on key projects due to an influx of projects.
