Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Haematology Specialist to join our team at Kings College Hospital. As a Consultant Haematologist, you will play a key role in providing expert care to patients with acute porphyria, a rare and complex condition.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct outpatient clinics for patients with acute porphyria, providing personalized care and guidance.
  2. Offer telephone/email advice to other hospitals across the UK on the investigation and management of patients admitted with possible or established acute porphyria.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  4. Participate in laboratory, translational, and clinical research initiatives, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in haematology.
