Chef de Partie Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Leighton Buzzard Golf Club. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality food for our members, visiting golfers, and external functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce all necessary food for food service operations as required and instructed by the Head Chef/Sous Chef
- Assist the Head Chef/Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Assist in the development of daily/weekly specials
- Help in forward planning of golf and private functions
- Maintain quality and quantity control in all aspects, from portion control to freshness of products and presentation
- Ensure the cleaning of the kitchen is to the agreed standard
- Ensure high personal hygiene
- Ensure all club rules are always adhered to
- Lead by example
- Be aware of and act in accordance with set procedures, including Fire and Health and Safety
- Assist in the cleanliness upkeep of the kitchen
- Carry out any reasonable requests made by a member of the management team
