Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Trainer / Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 5 (Lead Adult Care Worker).
- Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise, and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork, and general administration.
Requirements:
- Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA) or a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET.
- Ideally have experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care / Adult Care at Level 5.
- Hold your own Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, such as an LMC or equivalent.
- Have solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care as a Registered/Care Manager.
- Be confident to deliver and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English.
- Have a good level of ICT skills.
- Hold a full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Be flexible with travel and also remote home working.
