About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accreditation Assurance Specialist to join our team at Rail Delivery Group. As an Accreditation Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our internal colleagues and external partners understand and meet their assurance obligations within agreed timescales.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducting testing activities associated with the checking of evidence presented for accreditation
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders to provide guidance and support, identify and escalate issues, and advise on resolutions
  • Producing clear and detailed documentation, obtaining client approvals, and ensuring tools are updated on a timely basis to provide an accurate audit trail for each accreditation
  • Reviewing complex technical documentation both internally and externally
  • Writing technical compliance reviews
  • Checking evidence provided meets industry standards
  • Extracting data from various systems and analysing for non-compliance or to prove accuracy

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen professional with a strong analytical background and an understanding and appreciation of working to challenging deadlines. You will have a zest for learning and will want to positively contribute towards making our accreditation teams the respective services they are.

Requirements

  • A sound technical background ideal but not mandatory
  • Experience of reviewing system documentation supplied by TIS Suppliers and deriving how systems function and what amended/new features are being introduced in any given release
  • Experience of working in multi-stakeholder environments, managing stakeholder relationships, and ability to work as part of immediate and wider teams
  • Experience of working with a risk-based approach is essential in the role
