About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Helper at Home Instead. As a Home Helper, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
