About the Job:

The Royal Mail is seeking a professional Delivery Driver to support their busy operation. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to the local community. You will start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route. You will collect your allocated vehicle and your hand-held computer device (detailing your route and tracking your mail) and then deliver the mail and parcels to your local community. Shift lengths vary between 4 - 8 hours per day.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team. You will be helpful and approachable, displaying a strong sense of community, as you get to know the people you meet on your round. Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required, you will need to be relatively fit and healthy. You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.
