Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle IVI and DI Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge technology for commercial vehicles, contributing to projects that enhance vehicle performance and improve the driving experience for users worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the To4 meetings, collaborating closely with Finance, Cost Estimating, Commodity- and Program Purchasing to provide an engineering perspective for supplier selection.
- Utilize engineering tools such as CANalyser/Diagnostics/CaNoe/ADB/WinSCP for agile software delivery and support cost negotiations between Purchasing and Supplier.
- Engage in cross-functional teamwork, liaising with STA, Supplier, affected PMTs, Brand, and JV partners to meet all functional targets.
- Lead and coordinate the development of E/E sub-system FMA workstream with suppliers, ensuring quality objectives and robustness targets are met.
Requirements:
- A degree in Engineering, ideally Electrical, Electronics, or Computing.
- Knowledge of Transit vehicle Electrical Systems and Components is an advantage.
- Competent in engineering tools such as CANalyser/Diagnostics/CaNoe/ADB/WinSCP.
- Strong project management skills with keen attention to detail and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working within global teams and strong IT skills, including JIRA, Excel, Teamcenter, WERS.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
