We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hardware Engineer to contribute to our growing team.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop new electronics products
  • Continuously improve procedures and processes, refining and defining best practices
  • Capture, specify, and manage design requirements, and undertake or supervise verification and validation of new product designs
  • Apply expertise to the design of electronics products, advancing the capabilities of the department
  • Ensure Design to Cost, Design for Manufacture, and Design for Test best practices are followed
  • Participate in the definition of product roadmaps, and maintain awareness of current industry trends and relationships with suppliers
  • Support concept and bid phase evaluation of projects, and provide technical support to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external customers


Requirements:


  • Relevant Engineering Degree, such as Electronics
  • Experience in high and low volume product development
  • A mix of experience in both analog and digital electronic development for regulated markets requiring standards adherence and certification would be beneficial
  • Capable of independent working, with a Six-Sigma background a plus
  • Ability to write clear and unambiguous process and product documentation
