Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Nova Training. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and ensuring they have access to high-quality education and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in preparing and delivering lessons and interventions
  • Monitor and report on learners' progress and barriers to learning
  • Interact with parents and caregivers on a regular basis
  • Assist in managing behavioural difficulties
  • Motivate and inspire students to achieve their best
  • Contribute to our core vision and values
  • Work independently and as part of a strong team
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a Teaching Assistant in an education setting
  • Relevant qualification or training in Special Education
  • Previous experience working with learners with EHCPs is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Vision, innovation, and passion for teaching and learning
