Mobile Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Engineering Manager to join our client, a pioneering tech for good company, and lead their growing Mobile Engineering function. This role offers a unique blend of technical leadership, talent development, and software delivery, requiring strong collaboration with experienced engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of mobile engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure technical excellence.
  • Develop and articulate technical requirements to stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  • Drive the development of Flutter-based mobile applications, leveraging expertise in native mobile app development for iOS and Android.
  • Define and evolve technology and architectural strategies, advocating agile development best practices.
  • Foster collaboration between engineering and product teams, ensuring a cohesive and innovative product roadmap.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading engineering teams, with a strong track record of technical leadership and talent development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of Flutter and native mobile app development, with prior hands-on experience.
  • Experience defining and evolving technology and architectural strategies, with a strong understanding of agile development principles.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, with a focus on delivering engineering excellence through mentoring and code reviews.
