Job Summary

We are seeking a confident and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Cygnet Nield House. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs, empowering them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication management, and meal preparation.
  • Support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor and report any changes in an individual's condition, ensuring timely interventions and referrals as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably with individuals with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • DBS clearance and ability to undergo enhanced checks.
