About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Health Care Assistant at Thames House care home in Rochdale. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with meal times, ensuring individuals receive the nutrition and hydration they need
  • Understand and respond to individual health and wellbeing needs, promoting choice, dignity, and independence
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in social activities, both within and outside the care home
  • Complete and maintain accurate care records, ensuring up-to-date information is available to support individual care plans
About You

We value relevant experience and qualifications, but they are not essential for this role. What is essential is a caring, kind, and understanding approach, with the ability to deal with and defuse challenging situations. You will be energetic and outgoing, with a positive, can-do attitude, and a great listener and communicator.
