As an Optometrist, you'll be working alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support our team and maintain departmental standards. Your day will involve completing eye examinations, contact lens, and extended service examinations. We're passionate about developing our Optometrists and providing them with the training they need to excel in their role. You'll have the opportunity to gain additional accreditations and develop new patient services. We're looking for a skilled Optometrist who is eager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our store's excellent service levels. You'll be passionate about delivering a memorable customer experience and shaping the culture of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete eye examinations, contact lens, and extended service examinations
- Work alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support our team and maintain departmental standards

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC, a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board, and MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda). You'll also need to be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD and able to use your skills and passion for the role to deliver a memorable customer experience.
