The Reward Project Manager will play a key role in managing and delivering key reward initiatives, including compensation cycles, systems integration, and global projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of reward-related projects, ensuring alignment with the organisation's strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, expertise in compensation and reward processes, and the ability to navigate complex, global, matrixed organizations. They will collaborate closely with HR, Reward, IT, and senior stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and effective communication across teams.

The Reward Project Manager will also be responsible for managing risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring that all deliverables are met according to plan.

This role requires a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple workstreams, and provide critical insights into reward strategies, ensuring compliance and alignment with global policies and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Year-End cycle delivery, ensuring successful completion.
  • Establish and manage a governance framework to clarify workstreams, deliverables, sign-off points, key milestones, and escalation processes.
  • Provide regular project updates and communications, including key decisions, risks, and escalation summaries.
  • Oversee multiple workstreams, such as Reward, Talent, Systems, and People Operations, maintaining visibility over all associated actions and tasks.
  • Own and maintain the Project Plan, clearly communicating deliverables, key milestones, and progress.
  • Identify and escalate issues or risks to project sponsors (Head of Reward/HR Operations) and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Organize and manage project closure activities, including debrief sessions, and ensure all materials and plans are moved to a shared repository.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS Lead to develop and test user cases specific and ensure the sign-off of all testing.
  • Regularly update HR Leadership Team (HRLT) and senior stakeholders on cycle progress through well-documented materials.
  • Take accountability for project timelines, addressing delays, and escalating when milestones are not met.
  • Develop training plans and materials for supporting teams, where required.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Reward, partnering with the Global Head of Reward.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading a year-end cycle in a matrix, global organization, ideally in retail, hospitality, or leisure sectors.
  • Expertise in Workday system is essential.
  • Strong data analysis skills with high attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Excellent project and process management skills.
  • Ability to effectively influence and engage multiple stakeholders across different time zones.
  • Strong logical, critical thinking, and communication skills; fluent in English; advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Open-minded with a curiosity for understanding diverse perspectives, and the ability to listen and act without judgment.
