Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced childcare professional to join our team as a Nursery Room Manager at Busy Bees Nurseries. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting the staff in your room, ensuring that every individual child's needs are met, and providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive.

About the Role

As a Nursery Room Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the nursery, including managing staff, resources, and budgets.
  • Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve the quality of care and education provided to children.
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Leading and managing a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of children, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to address these.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager, or Nursery Practitioner.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
