Job Title: Sensory Qualitative Research Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sensory Qualitative Research Manager to join our team at MMR Research. As a key member of our sensory community, you will be responsible for leading qualitative sensory research projects, working closely with clients to understand their needs, and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute qualitative sensory research studies, including consumer interviews, focus groups, and sensory panels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including qual and brand consultants, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct sensory moderation, eliciting detailed sensory vocabulary from trained panelists and transferring these skills to working with clients and untrained consumers.
  • Articulate product sensory characteristics and provide clear argumentation and recommendation on product differences to support project objectives.
  • Develop engaging story-led presentations and present with gravitas, effectively communicating research findings to clients.

Requirements:

  • Strong passion for sensory research and innovation in the FMCG/CPG sectors.
  • Fluent in French or German would be a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to write engaging story-led presentations and present with gravitas.
  • Love to collaborate and work as a team, but can work independently too.
