Teaching Opportunity at Wayman Learning Trust

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated MFL teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5 (optional).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire secondary students to reach their full potential.
  • Student Progress and Assessment: Monitor and assess students' progress, keeping regular records of their academic performance.
  • Classroom Environment: Create a positive and safe learning environment that fosters academic growth and well-being.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support for secondary students.
  • School Events and Activities: Participate in school-related activities, such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children.
  • Classroom Management: Use effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: QTS or equivalent, degree in a relative field, and a recognized qualification in teaching.
  • Skills and Experience: Excellent classroom management skills, ability to engage and motivate learners, strong interpersonal skills, and sound knowledge of the national curriculum.
  • Personal Qualities: A passion for teaching, making a difference in students' lives, and aligning personal values with the school's ethos of high excellence and care for students and community.
