Job Description


As an Academic Support Specialist, you will play a key role in creating a positive learning environment, promoting collaboration between students and staff, and supporting the success of our educational programs.


Responsibilities include:



  • Supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), disabilities, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Working closely with teaching staff to implement tailored learning plans, ensuring that all students receive the guidance and assistance they require to thrive in an educational setting.
  • Fostering a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Evaluating progress and adjusting approaches to meet the diverse needs of each student.

Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A compassionate and adaptable approach.
  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
