We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide a full suite of accountancy support to a varied client portfolio, working closely with senior management to ensure assignments meet expectations, deadlines, and budgets.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of supporting a varied client portfolio within practice, with supervisory level experience and ACCA/ACA qualification or finalist status. They will possess good knowledge across accountancy systems, be adept at using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word, and have strong communication and advisory skills.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts for a range of businesses, completing corporate, personal, and partnership tax returns, and assisting the manager group with ad hoc assignments such as cash flow forecasts. They will also liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively problem-solving, and support junior staff by reviewing work with constructive feedback and scoping training opportunities.
