Electrical Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We require an experienced Electrical Equipment Maintenance Specialist to work at our water production site in Latton, near Swindon.

This role involves ensuring that all equipment is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods.

You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, fault diagnosing, testing, installing, modifying or repairing electrical equipment including motors, gearboxes, pumps and control systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Provide technical advice and support for technical trainees

You will also participate in a stand-by rota following relevant training.

Key Requirements:
  • 18th Edition electrical City and Guilds certification
  • Experience in electrical systems working in a multi-skilled capacity
  • A full UK driving licence

Salary: approximately £35,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience, plus opportunities to earn extra money through overtime and standby when available.

Additional benefits include company van, tools and PPE provided, annual leave 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with length of service, contributory pension, personal medical assessments and wider benefits scheme.
