About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Transport Planner to collaborate with professionals on a range of projects, from transport planning to engineering designs and drawings.

  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships, ensuring delivery of high-quality services.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, exercising technical knowledge and liaising with Local Planning/Highway Authorities, Highways England, and other professionals.
  • Manage projects, supervising staff, reviewing and approving design calculations and outputs, and complying with Company Health & Safety policies.
Requirements

Candidates should possess:

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with a proactive character.
  • Advanced knowledge of key transport software packages, including Junctions 9 (PICADY/ARCADY), LinSig, TRICS, TEMPro/NTEM.
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and awareness of Census data sources/analysis.
  • Knowledge of national/local design standards, such as DMRB, MFS 1 & 2, CIHT Policies/Guidance, and Local Authority Design Guides.
  • Excellent report writing skills, with advanced Microsoft Word knowledge.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD and vehicle tracking software.
Salary and Benefits
