Job Title: Pharmacy Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic specialist pharmacist to join our team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a key role in leading the Pharmacy Clinical Trials team and coordinating the pharmacy service to clinical trials and research involving investigational medicinal products.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have significant post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy, with a strong background in clinical pharmacy services. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality pharmacy services, participating in the pharmaceutical services of the trust, and taking part in the weekend and bank holiday service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Pharmacy Clinical Trials team
  • Coordinate the pharmacy service to clinical trials and research
  • Participate in the pharmaceutical services of the trust
  • Take part in the weekend and bank holiday service
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • MPharm or equivalent
  • Registered with GPhC
  • Membership of the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacist Group
  • Independent Prescribing qualification

Experience of personnel management, delivery of clinical pharmacy services, and evidence of continuing professional development are also essential. We welcome applications from candidates with paediatric pharmacy experience and experience of working with clinical trials.
