About the Cafe Supervisor Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to join our team at Sodexo. As a Cafe Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafe, ensuring that our customers receive a high-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of catering operatives to ensure that all food service standards are met.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the FOH manager to ensure that all catering codes of practice are adhered to.
  • Manage the ordering and distribution of catering consumables and stocktakes.
  • Undertake risk assessments and allergy files management.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is essential.
  • Natural creative and innovative flair with a genuine love of food and an eye for detail.
  • Excellent management skills, with a desire to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Industry awareness from high street to high-end cafes, and be aware of competitors for benchmarking purposes.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Professional, motivated, driven, flexible, and enthusiastic.
