About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Auditor to join our team at Bureau Veritas Group. As a Lead Auditor, you will be responsible for planning and conducting professional management system audits to enable delivery of assessment and certification services that meet the client's requirements and appropriate accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake third-party audits across core standards of Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001) in accordance with internal and external requirements.
- Lead the site audit team as required, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and delivery of all audit reports and additional materials in line with agreed timescales.
- Work closely with the scheduling team internally and communicate any constraints to ensure seamless audit execution.
- Support the technical review of files, providing answers to all queries when required, and deliver customer excellence by ensuring that all client enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Identify commercial opportunities for growth and development within the organization.
- Undertake personal professional development and ensure appropriate training records and personal logs are updated to maintain relevant auditor registration and relevant industry knowledge.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in management system standards, compliance, and auditing techniques. The ideal candidate will have:
A varied breadth of industry sector experience.Broad experience of carrying out either third-party or second-party audits.Held positions with responsibility of Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental management systems.Demonstrate strong working knowledge and experience of management system standards, compliance, and auditing techniques.Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on own initiative.Qualifications Required
- Qualified to Lead Auditor Status in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Full and valid UK driving license essential.
