Job Summary

The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to lead the Policy Leaders Fellowship Programme. This is a unique opportunity to work with a prestigious research university and contribute to the development of high-level policy initiatives.

About the Role

The Programme Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Policy Leaders Fellowship Programme, including the recruitment of new Fellows, organisation and delivery of high-profile events, and development of income streams. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to comprehend complex information across various academic disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Policy Leaders Fellowship Programme, including recruitment, events, and income development
  • Work closely with the Senior Management Team to further the Centre's organisational development and wider objectives
  • Lead operational delivery of events for high-level supporters, including the Dowling Policy Fellowship
  • Monitor and develop income streams for the Centre, ensuring the Policy Leaders Fellowship and supporter programmes are delivered to a high standard
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase income over time

Requirements

  • First degree level (or equivalent qualification or experience)
  • Familiarity with the University research environment
  • Experience of working at a senior level in an administrative setting
  • Strategic planning and operational delivery experience
  • Excellent project management, organisational, and administrative skills
  • Flexible and proactive working methods
