Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy that supports our overall business objectives.
  • Own the design, delivery, and management of 'data-as-an-asset' across all data aspects of our tech stack.
  • Create diagrams that show key data entities and maintain an inventory of the data needed to implement solutions.
  • Perform architecture and technology evaluations of new solutions.
  • Design scalable and efficient data models, databases, and data integration solutions.

Essential Requirements

  • Hands-on experience designing and managing a complex data platform at a medium or larger sized organisation.
  • Extensive experience architecting scalable data systems in a cloud environment.
  • Hands-on development experience using common technologies such as SQL Server, Postgres, Python, JVM-based languages, Spark/DataBricks, and CI/CD pipelines.
