**Probate and Private Client Tax Specialist Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly skilled Probate and Private Client Tax Specialist to join our team at Fletcher George Financial Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing them with a sensitive and complete service.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience dealing with Probate matters, either from work in a Legal or Accounting Practice, and be looking for a flexible work solution. You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships based on trust and providing a high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing probate and tax advice relevant to their circumstances.
- Assist clients in the administration of estates, including the preparation of probate and inheritance tax forms and liaison with relevant authorities.
- Identify effective ways to reduce IHT.
- Sensitively assist with Grant Of Probate.
- Liaison with bereaved families to value estates for Probate purposes.
- Deal with personal bequests and any relevant matters as dictated by a person's Will.
- Completion of Accounts and Tax Calculations.
- Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, and estates.
Requirements:
- A professional qualification such as ATT, STEP or CTA is highly desirable.
- Relevant experience in probate and private client tax within a professional services firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax and probate legislation, particularly in inheritance tax, trusts, and estate planning.
Salary and Benefits: A salary band of £48,000 – £52,000 has been set by Fletcher George as a guide based on full-time hours. We are committed to attracting a diverse pool of applicants and assisting talent to find career opportunities in which they can thrive.
