Job Summary

Lidl is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Deutschland. As a key member of our store leadership, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing store team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies and customer service initiatives.
  • Develop and implement action plans to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance store presentation.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop the store team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain excellent shop floor presentation, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are always maintained, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Consistently deliver excellent customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • To have completed your A Levels or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full driving licence.
  • A passion for working in a fast-paced, varied environment, hitting targets and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The flexibility to work varying shift patterns.
  • Preferably, previous experience working as an Assistant Store Manager, but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude.
