Job Overview

The Fast Models DevOps & Quality team at ARM is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to support the delivery of complex projects and drive improvements to our technology stack and developer tooling. This role will play a critical part in defining and implementing solutions that will make a real difference to the Fast Models developer teams, and your work will help our customers to design their next-generation processors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver major projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Coordinate release activities, ensuring seamless deployment of software releases.
  • Analyse test data to support quality improvements, identifying areas for enhancement.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience with agile and DevOps methodologies, with a strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Experience leading and delivering complex projects, with a focus on software release management.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, CI/CD tools, and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Linux administration environments, including scripting and command-line interfaces.
  • Strong scripting knowledge, with expertise in Python and Bash.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
  • Experience with projects aimed at improving software efficiency and quality.
  • Knowledge of C/C++ build and debugging tools, including CMake, Ninja, and Conan.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI, and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Proficiency in Ansible, AWS, and VMware.
  • Knowledge of Boto3, Terraform, and Groovy scripting.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container services, including ECS, EKS, and AKS.
People Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly collaborative team player, with a strong ability to build great working relationships with stakeholders and developers.
