The role of a Reception Teacher at Wayman Education involves inspiring and guiding young students in their academic and personal growth. Located in Southwark, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing daily lesson plans that reflect the school's curriculum and focus on individual learning needs of Reception students.

  1. Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment for Reception-aged children.
  2. Embrace and support diversity within the classroom.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to create an excellent education experience for Reception students.
  4. Maintain regular communication with the school leadership team regarding lesson plans, assessments, and student progress.
  5. Educate Reception students about the core philosophies, values, and expectations of the school's culture and community.
Key Requirements

We are seeking a qualified Primary teacher with QTS, EYTS or PGCE, and strong academic record. Experience in teaching in a primary school, relevant bachelor's degree in education, and minimum of 2-3 years' experience teaching Reception-aged children are essential.

Salary Information

The salary for this permanent Reception Teacher position is paid to scale following the MPS/UPS pay scale.
