Optometrist Opportunity

A dynamic and patient-focused group of independent opticians is seeking a full-time or part-time optometrist to join their well-established Thatcham practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to provide personalized eye care services to patients, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and working closely with an experienced dispensing optician.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough sight tests, providing patients with a comprehensive eye care experience
  • Work with advanced equipment, including Optomap, OCT, Tonometer, and digital slitlamp
  • Collaborate with the dispensing optician to provide patients with the best possible eye care solutions
  • Manage patient care, making decisions on lens and contact lens dispensing
  • Work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays, with a focus on providing excellent patient care
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Willingness to learn and develop clinical skills
  • Focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
