Financial Analyst Opportunity at the AA

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Central Services team in Basingstoke. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in providing critical financial insights and analysis to support the strategic objectives of our AAX business unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct month-end close accounting and develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Perform financial modelling and ad hoc analysis to generate actionable insights and drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the AAX leadership team and support the Finance Business Partner in preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Analyse financial data and other KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to create detailed financial reports and compelling presentations.
  • Proven experience in performing month-end close accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
