Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team of professionals who share a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Radiographer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake a wide range of radiographic examinations, including plain film, fluoroscopy, and CT, ensuring high standards of technique and patient care.
  • Work within and adhere to departmental and Trust policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the Imaging On-Call rota, extended working day system, and weekend duties.
  • Liaise with other areas of the Trust to ensure the best patient care.
  • Record data concerning the patients examination, in line with IRMER 2017 legislation.
  • Maintain a professional attitude for the dignity and well-being of the patient and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Actively assist in the clinical education/training of trainee assistant practitioners, radiographic assistants, and radiography students.
  • Participate in research, technical developments, and introduce new techniques and instruct staff on the same.

Requirements

  • Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) Radiography.
  • Current HCPC Registration.
  • Post-Basic Registration with extensive relevant experience within the NHS.
  • Post Graduate Certificate relevant to Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Wide ranging experience of plain film, fluoroscopy, and mobile radiography.
  • Experience of specialist orthopaedic procedures.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, flexible working hours, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
