Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team at Red King Resourcing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical engineering, a strong technical foundation, and a passion for developing and implementing high-quality mechanical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  2. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing effective solutions to ensure seamless project execution.
  4. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to execute projects accurately and efficiently.
  5. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure successful project completion and continuous improvement.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  7. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  9. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and apprentices to promote knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair.
  3. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and principles.
  4. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
  5. Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering are a plus.
