About The Role
As a Payroll Assistant at Aardman Animations, you will be responsible for day-to-day administration, processing, and bookkeeping support in maintaining the efficient running of the payroll within the Finance Department. Your duties will include preparing weekly registers, collating timesheets, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with HMRC submissions.

Your Responsibilities
• Prepare weekly payrolls, including registering active contracts and collecting new starter paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records of holiday, sick leave, TOIL, and pension entitlements.
• Provide administrative support to the team, including cross-checking work, inputting timesheets, and covering holidays/sickness.

About You
We're looking for candidates with at least two years' experience in payroll, who have previously managed weekly payrolls. You should possess strong organisational and administrative skills, be able to juggle multiple tasks, and have an enthusiastic approach to problem-solving. Previous experience with Sage 50 payroll is advantageous.
