Olive Branch Fostering is committed to improving the lives of Looked After Children. We are seeking a dedicated Children and Young People Services Coordinator to join our team in Cambridge. This exciting opportunity involves supporting foster households and children/young people in placement, according to their needs as defined by the Placement Plan.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with Supervising Social Workers and Area Managers to enhance placement stability and build positive relationships with the children/young people and fostering households. This role requires willingness to travel and use of a car as you will be required to visit placements across Cambridgeshire and West Norfolk areas.

We are looking for an individual with experience within child care, specifically children with additional needs, including ASD, GDD, nonverbal, and those who find it difficult to regulate their emotions. The ideal candidate should also have a good understanding of challenging behaviours and trauma, as well as an understanding of the needs of looked after children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to children/young people
  • Offer necessary respite for carers
  • Contribute to planning activity days for foster carer families and children/young people
Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a competitive salary of £24,000 (pro-rata), plus a range of benefits, including generous annual leave, birthday leave, good health days, and more.
