We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Transaction Processor to join our team at VanRath. In this role, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, verifying GRNs, and coding invoice data into the purchase ledger system.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for finance and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with the senior accounts team members to ensure seamless financial operations and provide top-notch support to the business.

Responsibilities
  • Process financial transactions, including invoices, credit notes, and GRNs
  • Verify GRNs against invoices and credits, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Coding and entering invoice data into the purchase ledger system, maintaining up-to-date records
  • Handle all purchase ledger enquiries, providing timely and professional support
  • Set up BACS/faster payment runs, individual payments to the purchase ledger, and allocate payments to invoices
Requirements
  • Prior experience working within an accounts payable team, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, with a focus on quality and precision
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles, with knowledge of financial systems and procedures
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
