Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Stallingborough. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day maintenance services and support to our manufacturing plant.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage small projects, either capital or expense, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide high-level troubleshooting expertise to maintenance supervisors, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance budgets, analyzing costs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform engineering design calculations as needed to support the maintenance team.
  • Collaborate with the Reliability and Projects teams to investigate and execute longer-term remedies.
  • Assist the Maintenance Coordinator in improving the execution of scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and revise maintenance procedures to optimize efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A Mechanical Engineering degree, ideally with chartered status.
  • Familiarity with UK Health and Safety legislation, preferably NEBOSH Certificate qualified.
  • Proven experience in delivering high-quality maintenance engineering within a chemical manufacturing environment.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
  • Up to 10% bonus, tied to corporate and personal objectives.
