Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Cleaning Professional to join our team at Care New England Health System. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the hospital. This includes cleaning patients' rooms, disposing of waste, emptying laundry hampers, and ensuring that all corridors are clear of obstructions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Clean patients' rooms and maintain all areas on the Nursing Unit, including bed-making support, disposal of needle boxes, and emptying laundry hampers.
  2. Transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed within the hospital and assist with discharging or transporting patients.
  3. Deliver laboratory specimens, x-rays, lab reports, telephone requests, and other miscellaneous items necessary to support nursing units.
  4. Maintain inventory and prepare orders for non-par stock items on the Nursing Unit.
  5. Assist in training new employees and enforce hospital policies, rules, and regulations.
