About the Role

Kennedys is seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Developer to join our London-based team. As a key member of our Financial Systems Development Team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing integrations, programs, and scripts related to our practice management system and current workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop integrations, programs, and scripts to support our practice management system and workflows
  • Deliver solutions that meet agreed standards to ensure services are resilient, stable, and future-proof
  • Document current and future integrations and solutions
  • Collaborate with other business services technical teams on joint projects involving finance data and integrations
  • Work with project teams to implement new financial systems, test upgrades, and changes to existing systems and integrations

Requirements

  • Knowledge of data flow and effective integration design
  • Microsoft SQL Server development and maintenance (T-SQL and SSIS)
  • Strong understanding of API design principles, RESTful architectures, and integration patterns
  • Experience with implementing best practice security encryption and protocols to protect data at rest and in transit
  • XML/XSLT and XPath
  • DTS/SSIS/SSAS/SSRS
  • Knowledge and experience with Intapp and Boomi (advantageous)
  • Understanding of general legal finance and accounting principles (advantageous)
  • Experience working with a Legal PMS system (Elite, Aderant, SAP) (advantageous)
  • Experience integrating finance transactions and data
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and shape future processes and system design
  • Involvement in data migration projects and a broad understanding of all aspects of such projects (advantageous)
