Key Responsibilities
  • Take attendance, set assignments, and mark student work, ensuring accurate records and progress reports.
  • Teach various subjects and classes, utilizing a range of teaching methods and curriculum developments.
  • Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum for students, supporting designated curriculum areas as needed.
  • Oversee the work of learning support staff and Teaching Assistants, maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.
  • Enforce rules for good behavior, providing feedback to external bodies as required.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Be a Qualified Teacher or in the process of gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching Secondary education, with a strong understanding of Science as a National Curriculum subject.
  • Be able to create and deliver engaging learning experiences suitable for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 requirements.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, developing positive relationships with staff and external agencies.
