About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health Barts Hospital. As a Senior Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. You will work closely with our team of radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services to a varied caseload, including patients in the department, on the ward, and in theatre.
  • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment, and facilities to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
  • Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures to ensure that our services are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to deliver high-quality services.
  • Ensure that our services are delivered with sensitivity and compassion, taking into account the individual needs of each patient.
Requirements
  • BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification.
  • High levels of technical knowledge and experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Ability to work accurately and compassionately, with a focus on delivering high-quality services.
  • Experience of supervising and developing junior colleagues.

Nuffield Health Barts Hospital is a leading independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. We provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology, and urology services. Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres, and a full diagnostic imaging suite.
