About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that facilities are well-maintained and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Manage a team of maintenance and engineering staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities are aligned with business objectives and that any issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that facilities are managed in a way that is consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on facilities performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, with a strong background in maintenance and engineering.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
